Yes connect the yellow video signal wire to pin 24, the camera ground to pin 9 and supply the camera with what ever voltage it requires.

The video input is also very useful for the driver to see what is coming up behind on track, especially useful in endurance racing where there are various classes running at the same time that can have vastly different lap times.

The dash only displays the video, it can't record it.

all this assuming you are in a car that doesn't have rearview mirrors? - cool feature though.

In the case of my car, more useful for reversing in the pit/paddock area. With the roll cage and seating position plus wearing a helmet and HANS device it is very hard to see what is any closer than about 20 feet behind you!
