The only issue with using alarms is that you will get the alarm message at the bottom of the screen.

You can also do it in User Conditions by doing the following:

Condition 1 = "GP Percent 1" <= 5% AND "GP Percent 1" > 2%
Condition 2 = "GP Percent 1" <= 2%

Then in the SLM setup configure the same LED for each Condition channel and make the "Condition 2" channel flash.

Either way would be valid. I suppose it depends on if you want alarm text for low fuel or simply a steady then flashing light.

I have not got so many user conditions to play with, I have a pit lane limiter setup in the PDM and I am using user conditions to generate flashing telltales when the pit lane limiter is activated through to some speed indicators using user conditions that look for the limiter active message and then various speeds to bring on each shift light. That takes up 5 user conditions in my current setup, unless/until I think of a more efficient way to do it.
