Build 1.04 -- Film based mapping compensation

Postby Fast_Moto on Wed Apr 27, 2016 10:41 pm

I have been creating builds for motorcycle applications using the more traditional compensations and am interested to see whether film based mapping compensations make sense for my applications. Is there some more information available about this (beyond the sparse info in the help file) and, more specifically, how to tune them?

If you go to 'Fuel Film Primary' in GPR you will find some in-depth help on how fuel film works and how to calibrate it. The help includes screenshots of tables and logged data together with text, so provides a lot of information.

Thank you Alan. Are you using film compensation for BSB nowadays?

No, BSB runs the old style transient fuelling calculation. We have no plans to change it.
