GRP-P firmware

Postby greenamex2 on Tue Mar 08, 2016 7:47 pm

Hi

Any idea if/when the GPR-P firmware will be updated next? It seems to have fallen quite a bit behind GPA/GPR.

Hi Denis,

It's in Beta testing at the moment, and will be released soon.

Had a good play with the new firmware...looks good.

One question though. I see that a PDM can be used to trigger the gear shift actuator solenoid. Is the data frequency between the M1 and the PDM really fast enough for that to be an option?

As ever, I am trying to get a quart into a pint pot!

Thanks

It is possible, if it is your only option, but it would be better to directly drive the actuator from the M1.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Came to the same conclusion. Picked up an MDD on fleabay to give me some extra button/rotary capacity. Now good for inputs and outputs...for a while!

Thanks.
