C125 Track Kit in E46 M3

Postby sooley on Sun Sep 28, 2014 1:36 am

Hi Guys
Just need some help on compatibility.

I am looking to fit a C125 Race dash to my 2003 BMW E46 M3.
I have been told that because they run the older OBDII that it may not work.

Really just want to log the basics, Revs, GPS lap times, temps and what ever else I can get.

Anyone know if this will be a simple plug and play or if I will I have to add sensors etc to make it work?

Any help would be great.

Does someone have a response to this?

I'm trying to work out the details on the Steering Angle Sensor.

Thank you!

If the vehicle is pre 2007 then it is unlikely to have CAN based OBDII messaging. This is the only OBD messaging that our devices work with.

This doesn't stop you reading the standard CAN bus (which is usually available from the same OBD connector), reverse engineering it, and creating templates for the C125 to read the channels.
