m2r cant celect 3 coil keeps reverting back to 4

I have 4 coils and wanting to make wasted fire
I have 4 coils 2 single fire 2 wasted spark

Its set to 4 single fire mode
When i select back to 3 it reverts back to 4

Even after save
And after keeps saying 1 unchaged save or overright

I have boost solnoid conected to ign4 output
And is this effecting ?

I would guess You need to set your ignition type to one of the Mazda modes not 1 or 2

If you press F1 when on ref/sync mode you will get a list of the only combinations of ignition settings you are able to use with the M2R. 3 coils isn't possible according to that...

Ref/sync mode is different to Ignition type. Highlight ignition type and then press F1. From memory its ign mode 103 or 104 for Mazda rotary ignition packs

Sorry for delay yes you are correct in this mode only suports 4 but only uses 3 outputs
Was worried that the boost solnoid was getting the coil signal after testing seems fine
