Postby anasyakoub on Sun Nov 22, 2015 7:36 pm

Hello,

I have did a drag race run and got 10.6 ET with ignition cut ( retarded ) around 15 times,
and I could not find why it happened,

What's strange is the very regular intervals (every 1/2 second). Also, note there are fuel pulsewidth changes that occur at the same time, so perhaps whatever compensation or function is occurring affects both ign & fuel.

You removed the device config from the logfile, so I can't see what you have configured. Can you tell us more about the car, ECU setup (ie. what functions are you using -- traction control, gear change cut, boost control,).

How can attach the device config to the log file ?
I am not using gear ignition cut and traction control.
I am only using ORB for launch control in 0-10 speed. And in the log file ORB ignition cut is 0 so its not the one doing this

I believe the pulse width is changing due to rpm play becuase of retareded ignition

I'm pretty sure it is ORB ign. There are a couple of instances of this retard effect that coincide with ORB ign cut. I think what is masking this effect from showing on the ORB ign cut level channel is the fact that you have only logged it at 2Hz so that is not fast enough to capture the very sort activity.

I'll bet the ORB Setup has the Activate Throttle Delay set to 500 ms, and something in the setup keeps trying to re-activate ORB. You should also log your Throttle Position at 20 hz, that 2hz stuff might be masking a clue.

That is really strange, How it could be activated while the speed is more than 10 as per the cut table,
see attached for the cut table and settings

after this run I found that the left ground speed hit 0 one time ( as you said it could be more because of the 2 hz logging ) so I have change it to left drive speed but I could not be able to try it again,
so why would the speed hit 0 ?

is there any safe way not to had the same thing again ?

I think it would be best if you could post your M800 configuration and let everyone look at all the parameters. Is your car wired for an ORB/Anti-lag switch and a ORB/Anti-lag table select switch?

When I download M800 data a copy of the config is stored in the Logged Data file. Did you use I2 to trim the file?

Thanks!

Looks like LD speed signal is dropping out tripping ORB 2 tables? Values in log match these tables.

CAN comms issue?

Maybe turn TC on and use calculated gnd and drive speeds instead of a single sensor?

At any rate log all the wheel speeds at 200 Hz putt around and see if they drop out.

Weird situation.
