M800 To PDM 15. Controlling the fuel pump and cooling fan

Postby super7 on Mon Oct 26, 2015 4:10 am

Hi.

I am helping a friend to start up
His racing Corvette. There is mounted a M800
and a Pdm 15.
Can I connect the fuel pump control from M800 to an input on the PDM 15,
and likewise the cooling fans.

Sincerely, Nils-Erik

Hi Nils-Erik,

You can use the outputs from the M800 wired into the PDM Inputs to control the fuel pump and cooling fans. You can also use CAN Messaging between the M800 and PDM to do the same. If you are confident in configuring CAN, then this is the way that I would recommend that it is done, as it removes the need to tie up two outputs and two inputs.

Have read a little.
Engine temp, I know how to send over the CANbus.
But not the fuel pump.
