CDL3 v C125 v C127 Which one to buy?????

Postby 20bRX7 on Tue Jul 14, 2015 11:23 am

I have read the key features quite a few times and there isn't much of a difference among the above. I drive a Mazda RX7 FD3S 20B (Triple Rotor-single turbo). Those interested, they can see my car in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWnsglyzAkQ

I have a Motec M84 ECU and I am actively looking to buy one of the above but I cant decide on the "Best" one.

Need help in deciding to go for one!

Cheers

Hi Mir,

The C series displays have more logging, and due to the layout changes of the screens, have the ability to display more data on a single page compared to the CDL3, you also have to check that the displays will fit into the space that you have to install them, with the C127 being the largest case.

I have a CDL3 which I love to bits and think it is wonderful (especially after my old Cosworth Omega D* dash!).

If I had the money I would upgrade to a C127 in a heartbeat.

More memory, user definable screen, colour and built in shift light would do it for me.

Not sure about the C125, screen a bit small, like looking at a phone screen. Ideal for motorbikes, steering wheel mounting etc though.

Just curious to see what the OP ended up buying.
I have a C125 but I am wishing I have bought a CDL3 in all honesty. The C125 seems a bit small and awkward.
