no connection M48 toPC

Hy

big problem with the conection from my pc to the m48!
serial number under 3000!!
only i have a cim modul and this drawing from the motec site!
i think the drawing or the cim modul ist is wrong!!!!
in the cim modul there is no contact pin 3, in the drawing yes!
give it there any more cim module??
in the cim modul give it pin10,but not in the drawing!!
someone has a picture of the contact inside!!

pin 3 cim modul go on pin 8 d9 female connector!! and then on the motec site??shot on pin7 d9 connector and then pin12 on the m48!!??????????????????

would be very nice if I can be somebody to say what might

I have checked this out and can confirm that the drawing is correct. There is no pin 3 in the CIM, this is shown in the drawing because it is intended for use when re-programing ECUs. This wire is not required for CIM operation. If you have wired it as per the drawing and it is not working you may have to check that the Com Port settings are correct on your PC and that the ECU is powered up.

ok i forget pin3 in the cim module!!!!
the serial port is correctly configured!!
please tell me the connection from the cim to the m48, is this right:

cim pin1 to m48 pin9(RX?)
cim pin2 to m48 pin11(TX?)
cim pin3 free
cim pin5 to m48 pin24(5V?)
cim pin6 to m48 pin27(ground?)

and the connection to PC:

cim pin11 to D9female pin 2 RX
cim pin8 to D9female pin3 TX
cim pin7 to D9female pin 5 ground

i think this is right?????

ok my three last questions:
1.pin10 in the cim what is this, in the drawing does not describe??!!
2.and on the m48 site pin12 also free??
3.the comunication way to the aim dash, cim pin12? or only cim pin8 for TX ?

Yes you have the CIM pin out correct.

Pin10 can be used for an optional shield.
Pin 12 will be used to connect to your AIM dash
M48 Pin 12 is not required for CIM
