M150 to AIM MXL2

Postby yorl on Tue Jun 02, 2015 5:49 am

I am wiring an M150 to one of our customer's rally car, and its got an AIM MXL2 dash. I didn't find information on the AIM website regarding the connection to the M150, only the "older" systems. Anyones got info on that?
Thanks!

What info do you need?

You connect CAN Hi/+ & Lo/-, and in AiM Race Studio 3, select ECU Manufacturer = Motec, and Model = M1.

The MXL2 does not have a CAN terminating resistor, so you'll need to terminate your CAN bus appropriately.

That was it, the resistor. Didn't know if it needed one or not. Thanks
