Wiring NTK Wideband To M84

Postby pioneer_sti on Mon May 12, 2014 1:21 pm

Hi,

We have the following sensor:

http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/product_info.php/cPath/103_105/products_id/352

Am I correct in assuming the above wideband sensor can be wired directly to the M84?

If yes, I'd like some clarification on the actual wiring. The NTK sensor has the following wires:

Blue = Heater +
Yellow = Heater -
Grey Wire = Vs
White Wire = Ion Pump
Black Wire = 0v

I am assuming that the heater + just requires 12 volt, and can be connected to Pin A26. Is this correct?

For the Heater -, does this have to be connected to an Aux output? If yes, is there a particular one that should be used?

For the rest I would like to know if Vs would be wired to LA1 S (B25), Ion Pump would wired to LA1 P (B26), and 0v would be wired to 0V Eng (B16, sensor ground)?

On last question, is the below sensor also compatible with the M84:

Thanks.

Don't know if the NTK 24302 will work or not, usually the NTK 24300 is recommended.

A26 or any key on or engine running MFI relay operated B+ such as connected to ignition coils, injectors, possibly even fuel pump will work fine for heater B+. Heater draws 1A or so, not a high current draw.
