Updating Firmware

Postby humancyborg on Thu Mar 26, 2015 10:40 am

I have an M130 that came with the November 2013 GPR firmware. I recently downloaded the December 2014 GPR package from the moteconline site, migrated my package from the old firmware to the new firmware, but when I try and send the migrated firmware to my ECU it tells me that I need a matching license for the new firmware.

My dealer has tried to figure this out with Motec, but was told everything is available online to do it and nothing further is needed - can someone assist in what the correct procedure is to upgrade to the newer firmware?

Thanks in advance

Hi humancyborg,

The December 2014 GRP package requires a new license. This license is available free of charge to owners of previous GPR licenses.

If you email support@motec.com.au and provide your ECU serial number they will be able to send you the updated license.

Kind regards,

Patrick
