control panel not working

Postby mk e on Mon Mar 23, 2015 5:34 am

When I click on "control panel" I get kicked to the login screen. So I log in and click on control panel and get kicked to the login screen. So I login........

I just wanted to check my email settings but can't seem to get there.

Might try refreshing your page after logging in. My "Control Panel" brings up a menu with "User Control Panel ->" and sub menus for Overview, Profile, Private Messages, etc. Perhaps you need to have cookies enabled?

I get
control panel > User control panel > menu (overview, profile, ect)

clicking anything on the sub menu sends me back to the login page.

Cookies are on. I normally use chrome but also tried explorer with the same result. It does seem like a cookie issue though as the "keep me logged in" or similar button forgets me setting every time. Strange.

BTW - I reproduced this on another computer this morning. I am using Firefox, but it behaved exactly as you describe.

I have always found that this forum doesn't remember the login state, and I have to re-login all the time.
