Postby imi on Sun Dec 21, 2014 1:09 am

Somethjng bit weird going on im at a point where there are flatspots at around 2500rpm
Unsure why ive put in a narrow band 02 sensor ( could this be somthing to do with it)
Here are the log files i got 2
one is engine warm and just flat spot
and the other is log of me changing timing and smoothening it or trying to lol its geting better but that flat spot is still there ive tried going crazy advancing timing just to test if it makes any better but not

but any way the files

the short file warmed engine

Yes a narrowband lambda is not going to give you any useful data. You will need a wideband to get this sorted.
It looks like a fuel issue to me, in this screen shot you can see the pulsewidth suddenly increases where the deadspot is:

I only had a quick look at your map but I would say the flat spot is caused by the variation across the 6 highlighted cells below. 20 to 32IPJU is more than 50% difference in fuel flow in an area of the map that I wouldn't really expect to have any big changes in VE. Accel enrichment seems to be adding a lot of pulsewidth at the same time also so you may also need less accel enrich.

Thanks for your reply ive been messing trying to get my wideband sorted first as you have said having problem ive search the forum found few links but no joy its an lc1 i have but on this forjm it says i need a analog ground but my lc1 doesnot have an anlog ground my plan was to put a voltage devider in as said in article

http://wbo2.com/faqs/autronic.htm

Im trying to figure out if the resistance is the same for my m2r

But back to the main problem i have tried reducing acell inrich
Reduced fueling over the selected areas as you have shown i will log it in the week end and upload the new log and map

It only does it at around 25%tp and if u hold it there it does it few points up the rpm popping and sounds like misfiring but soon as you pass this point its perfect (any chance a tps sensor related )
Any how i will go again this weekend and upload logs and file
I have my boost all set up on acellerating car is spot on good afr on gauge
Thanks

im going to carry on with the tuning as soon as my fuel pump and map sensor arrives may possibly need more assistance with the setup lol
