PDM software 1.7

Dear Sire,
My PDM 30 not communicate with UTC. The PDM 30 run 1.7 software. 1.5 software read the pdm serial number and 1.8 wersion olso read the pdm serial number. The software run windows XP. All other ECU software olso run with this UTC. Only PDM 1.7 software not working, what can I do?

Is there any reason that you want to run the version 1.7 software? If the v1.8 works with the PDM, and the PDM has had it's firmware updated to 1.8, then the 1.7 PDM Manager will not communicate with it properly anyway.

I did not write the PDM program. It should be improved because of errors. If upgrad 1.8 versioon wipe out everything. Many times it is completely new to do.

I have upgraded many v1.7 PDM's to v1.8 without problems, however, upgrading from earlier versions directly to v1.8 can cause issues.

There also was an issue with one version of PDM manager v1.7 where the version of MoTeC Discovery used in the build didn't work properly, and meant that some systems didn't communicate properly with PDM's, this was also dependent on other software installed on the computer, and the order that it was done. The fix for this was to upgrade to the latest version of the software, in either v1.7 or v1.8. I would recommend going to v1.8 however.

Thank you the correct ansvware. On MoTeC homepage I did not found a PDM software 1.7 version without MoTec Discovery.
I will upgade to 1.8 version.
