Status Data Types (Enumeration) and i2

Postby Fast_Moto on Wed Mar 19, 2014 7:19 am

When I load data from an M1 ECU with a package built by Motec into i2, the channel window will display the name of the enumerator corresponding to the current status of the data type enumeration associated with the channel.

However, for the M1 package I built, the channel window will only display the integer, regardless of whether the enumeration is custom or standard (e.g., ignition output diagnostic, synchronisation status, etc).

My question is, how do I get the i2 channel window to display the name of the enumerator instead of the corresponding integer for my self-built package?

The information about enumerated data types is added to the data logging file by M1 Tune. i2 was updated to use this information - if you aren't seeing the enumerators I suspect you were using an older version of i2.
