AEM and CAN

Postby Noslin on Sun Nov 30, 2014 9:00 am

thinking about using the AEM four channel EUGO controller for wideband readings. does anyone know if the AEM CAN and Motec CAN will communicate with one another?

if they do, concerning logging via the CAN on the M84, how does this work out. does the four sensors need have an input assigned to it or does the ECU read the info and logs it? in a way, is it a free (seeing how you have to buy additional hardware to log more functions if desired) way to acquire data?

thank you

No, the CAN Coms on the M84 are preset for a few specific Motec devices, PDM's, VCS, etc. There is no user defined CAN input set up.
I dont even think you could do 4 channels of Lambda using 2 LTCD's with the M84.
