DBW tps

Postby 64hardtop on Sat Nov 22, 2014 11:52 am

Looking to hook up a DBW setup into an M800. The dual TPS feedback from the throttle body counter each other, this is normal. My question concerns the dual TPS signals from the throttle pedal. Do these also need to be connected in a counter polarity like the ones from the throttle body or do they need to follow each other?

The way that the signals from the sensors work depends a lot on the actual sensor, some will go counter to each other, others will go in sync. There are also some that have the tracking voltage plateau at around 60%. This is also the same (except for the plateau part) with throttle pedal behaviour.
