Hi

Tried too increase the dwell time?

I did run a rally car with R6 coils.

I used:

7v 8V 9V 10V 11V 12V 13V 14V 16V
12,7 8,9 7 5,9 4,6 4,2 3,8 3,4 2,9

Don't know if th coils are the same but you can try!

No , that I didn't try yet , I think they are the same .

My problem is completely the same as this thread , so I think battery problem

Yes I would start with the battery. I had a similar problem and a battery change fixed it. Also the starting when hot. On my r1 I had to go into neg numbers on the crank comp to get it started when hot. so you should try that

What battery did you use ?

I ordered a Super B 5200 , hope this wil work .

Problems solved I think .

Bike starts pretty good now and crancks almost 2 times the RPM it did before .

Only thing I had to do was service my starter motor .

Now a normal R1 battery can get it crancking up high enough to start even with my engine and its a full Yec engine .

It is a anti gravity 8 cel battery.
What did you set your starting comp?
How well does it do hot starts. Do you have a log of the engine running at idle warmed up? I would like to have a look at it if you don't mind.

Here is the logged file I made today , this was with a stock battery not completely full as you can see .

I stopped it 2 times at the end arround 77°C and started it back up as you can see .

Idle isn't running that bad , the bike is running to riche in fuel because it has no air tubes on it and all the heat from the engine gets to the collector box and it was mapped without DB killers wich are now mounted on it .

Also I'm working in a small closed workplace so the oxigen is pretty low and that also may add in the rich running I think .

Do you got idle problems ?

my idle fluctuates a little but is steady. i wanted to compare mine with yours but the file does not seem to be working

Mine does also fluctuates a little .
