Third PDM CAN Communications with CDL3

Postby Herrubermensch on Fri Jan 24, 2014 11:18 am

My CDL3 firmware currently has communication templates for receiving base CAN messages from two PDMs. I need my CDL3 to receive base CAN messages from three PDM16s. Any firmware update that will permit this or workaround Motec recommends?

Lol! Well, Adam, eliminating all fuses and all but one relay while maintaining some of the car's creature comforts has proven a challenge! Two PDM32s would have done the trick, but I liked the ability to locate the smaller PDM16s close to their outputs.

Have you been accused of building an LMP car yet?

Regarding the original question: No need for new firmware, just manually configure the CAN IDs.

I have been accused of everything from time to time!

So I would think as well. Will play with it.
