I have found a bug in the wiring of the Motec.

The boost solenoid output according to the pin out diagram lives on Connector A and Pin A31. This is not the case! It is physically connected to Connector A and Pin A33 "Orange wire" So in the software setup the Boost Solenoid output needs to be configured to use Half Bridge Output 5 and not Half Bridge Output 3.

Note: The Wiring schematic is correct, the PIN Out diagram is incorrect! Just to stop hours of frustration!

Could anyone recommend a Ethanol sensor that can determine the correct ethanol content and adjust an output voltage please.

I have run out of inputs. Spare wires available at the moment are : A29 "Peak Hold Inj 7" , A30 "Peak Hold Inj 8" and A34 "Half Bridge OP 6".
Can Motec change any of these to Voltage inputs?

Any help would be appreciated.

Most ethanol sensors are frequency based, not voltage as far as I know.

Cheers stevieturbo

what I did find was this kit that converts the flex fuel sensor output to dc volts

http://www.zeitronix.com/order/order.htm#ECA

http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/ECA/ECA.shtml

0 to 5 v output for ethanol content

Has anyone used these before and are they reliable?

I have been told it cannot be used as the X table cannot be configured.

Would be a quick, simple way to to use Pump E85..... :o

Can Motec incorporate this sensor and table and make it a selectable item...

I am having issues with the Tuning of the ski. Once the ski is idling it will not rev up. No response to throttle.

The ecu see's the response from the throttle but does not adjust anything with the throttle body.

Using closed loop. I have tried to calibrate the throttle assembly and still get the following error "Throttle Servo Diagnostic {Aim tracking Fault}".

Suggestions needed.

Ok....
I logged this with Motec via email and had a prompt response within hours. All problems resolved with the fantastic Tech support.

Many thanks Motec
