An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Motorsport Applications Engineer to join our friendly team at our global Research Centre based in Croydon South.

Your role will include:
1. Engine Control Unit (ECU) trouble shooting & diagnostics.
2. Assistance with reverse engineering of Vehicle electronics including CAN Bus and related systems (OEM vehicle experience preferable).
3. Preparation and maintenance of technical notes & internal documentation.
4. Electronic engineering background highly regarded.
5. Perform workshop tasks including sensor calibration, injector testing and in-vehicle testing of new and existing products.
6. Providing Dealer and Customer technical and sales support.
7. May include field technical support at either race meets or customer premises (some travel & weekend work involved).
8. High level of computer skills will be highly regarded.

You will also need to possess the following skills/qualifications:
1. A minimum 3 years experience in an applications engineering environment.
2. A sound knowledge of automotive electrical applications.
3. Knowledge of OE systems including ABS, DSC and body electronics.
4. Sound knowledge of internal combustion engines.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
6. Ability to work within a team environment.
7. Sound analytical, planning and organisational skills with a focus on achieving outcomes.
8. Excellent attention to detail.
