SDL3 Maximum Logging Time

Postby killerbee on Tue Apr 09, 2013 5:09 am

Just finished a 6 hour event yesterday and was looking at the data today. Only seems to have captured the first 2 hours. We could have shutdown the dash and restarted during a driver change but didnt think to. Is this a real limitation or have I missed something ?

In ADL3 manager (functions, logging setup) when you add channels to log and change the logging rate there's a status bar at the bottom which says you have X MB of logging and with the current logging you have Y days, hours, minutes of logging available. Is there similar in SDL manager?

Don't need to say but log less channels and / or at a lower rate and it will log for longer.

Or download and clear the memory when splashing fuel or changing out drivers.
