M1 ECU - Which Engines has it been tested on

Postby mgouldstone on Sat Apr 06, 2013 4:25 am

Hi,

Interesting to see that Motec have released their new range of ECU's. I wondered if anyone new which engines they have tested them on and in particular which 'Direct Injection' engines they have tested them on (I'm hoping it’s the Audi 4.2 FSI).

Any information would be appreciated.

I would like to ask the question again. since the M1 Build has been released for general use it would be interesting to know and helpful for all to develop a list of what engines are being planned or developed for use with the M1 Software.

At this time I am planning to use the GM LS series engine a new build. It would be helpful to exchange information and ideas regarding these engines and there options and issues. Is there a big enough interest in doing so?

I would like to exchange information with other regarding the following;
1. Is anyone working with GM’s Active Fuel Management (AFM, was Displacement of Demand [DOD])?
2. Is anyone working with the GM’s Variable Value Timing (VVT)?
