M2R/ CDL3 Tuning (No AFR option?)

Postby Davin on Fri Sep 21, 2012 10:45 am

I have an M2R and a CDL3 with all the goodies you can give it and for some reason I cannot get it to read AFRs. I figured with the Lambda Option it would give AFRs, but it isn't. Am I missing something? Is there a different approach to tuning this?

Hi David,
What lambda sensor are you using? Are you sure the Wide Lambda option is enabled on your ECU?
Can you email me your ecu configuration file?

Thanks!
Yuri

Sorry for the delay. I had to sort out a lot of things in my life and unfortunately my car had to go on the back burner. I had to pull my engine and fix other things before I could tackle the tuning stuff. Anyways, here are the CDL3, M2R tuning and logging files. I have all the options, with outputs for 4 Bosch ignition coils and a Mac boost controller. I also have 6 1000cc injectors; 2 in the primaries and 4 in the secondaries Y'ed together. Also have a 32 tooth crank sensor. Rotaries are so delicate and I do not want to have to redo everything because the boost control option was not set up right or it did not have a close loop. Again, thank you for the outstanding customer service. I do not know where I will be without you guys and my car hangs in your balance!

Here is a photo how one of the last shops wired up the o2 sensor. I have to take matters into my own hands since the shops I bring my car to are in way other their head. Again, thank you for everything.

Davin,
That looks like a 5 wire lambda probe in the photo, the M2R will only work with a 4 wire LSM11 sensor.
Also I notice in your ecu config file that you have advanced tuning option turned off - I'm fairly sure that needs to be turned on for wideband lambda.
