M48 to PI Omega D2 Dash - Telemetry Data Sets

Hi All

I've got an M48 I'm trying to get talking to an Omega D2 Dash/logger - Cosworth claim this dash will support the ecu input from the M48 but as of yet I have not been able to get it talking..

Cosworth tell me that I need to set the telemetry output from the ecu to Dataset 3 and there is an option in the dash to accept a "motec dataset 3" - as mentioned no go with these settings. I have been able to get it to display some of the channels from the motec by changing the output from the ecu to set 5 (ADL compatible) but it only shows some not all the channels.. What this does prove is that the serial coms is working properly - just appears to be a dataset mismatch..

I suspect the Omega only has options to accept the Dataset 3 from a "hundred" series motec - my question is, are the datasets the same or different between the M48 and M800 series ecu's?

any info appreciated - I need to get my facts straight before I go back to cosworth..
