PDM30 Firmware update trouble

Hi, I have two of your PDM30's and i have moved to a new laptop. I need to update the firmware on one of the pdms from 1.4 to the new 1.5 (I can do this fine via the pdm software) however when i go to connect i get

Communications Error:
Read Operation Failed: PDM Halted reason code WRONG_CFG_VER

Hi Plosey

I had a similiar issue when I tried to upgrade from 1.4 to 1.5 about a year ago,
If I recall the fix was to update the old 1.4 config file on the laptop into 1.5
and then update the pdm to 1.5 then resend the config file

Thanks, Yes that is the email i got from Motec as well and it did work. was a simple fix just needed a point in the right direction, TY
