Toyota 1UR engine ref/sync VVT setup.

Postby Alex B on Tue Aug 21, 2012 10:29 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know ref/sync mode and cam control parameters for this engine?
Its 36-2 mag on the crank, however I don't know tooth count / pattern on cams.
Its V8 with DBW and IN/EX variable cam control used in Lexus LS/GS 460 and some
Toyota SUVs starting from 2006 onwards.

Start file or any info is appreciated.

Regards
Alex

Ive got some info on the 1UR

Do you know that its DI as well as port? This is the case for the 1 UR FSE. There is a 1 UR FE version as well as far as i know but have never seen it. The next obsticle is the inlet cam control which is electric and not electro-hydraulic as most othet cam control systems. Its Duty cycle/Freq controlled.

What info do you have on this engine?
To run this an M800 with ADL3 could work in theory, but the M1 is the tool for the job.
