cant get backlight to work

I have searched and tried all the advice on the topics for the backlight function still with no luck. I attached my project and c127 file if anyone wants to have a look. I have verified when the dash is runningand dash manager running with monitoring channels i can see my backlight parameter go from 100% to 60% but yet no change in brightness. I added D1 Transmit with the D1 transmit channel in can1 aswell. Any ideas? thanks!

Give this a go.
In DC you hadn't added the backlight control function.
If you goto channels and search for backlight you will see what I've added.
You should also be able to remove the D1 Transmit from CAN1 in Dash manager unless you are using it for something else.
