Thousands Separator

Postby boston88 on Sat Nov 30, 2024 12:45 pm

How do I show a thousands separator? For example, for RPM I'd like to display "6,000" rather than "6000". The channel is a Floating Point and the Format is set to "Numeric". I can easily change, the font attributes, number of decimal places, and minimum number of digits, but I can't figure out how to add a thousands separator.

Anybody have a clever work-around solution for this problem?

Currently this isn't possible.

The trouble is there are quite a few different separator notations used worldwide. Commas separating the thousands may be regularly used in AUS/US/UK but european countries often use commas to indicate the decimal.

This has been flagged as something to be reviewed for future builds of Display Creator.
