Virtual shift light - C1212

Postby LeadChange41 on Mon Feb 07, 2022 11:36 pm

Is it possible to add a virtual shift light, even if just on off v. a sequenced light to the C1212? I'm trying to avoid using an SLM if possible.

Are you wanting to have the shiftlights on the display itself? I cannot see a reason why this wouldn't be possible. You could also build a page that the display changes to when a condition is met (such as approaching the Engine Speed Limit) that will catch your eye better than a light on the screen may.

LOL, well I was thinking about something more discrete than Paul Walkers but yes... something directly on the C1212. I could add the stand alone if needed but with all the real estate on the C1212 I wanted to explore a virtual "light" before using 2 sided tape to stick one to my dash.

I've just started messing around with designer to see if I can come up with something better than the stock layouts.
