C125 Corrected Odometer

Postby DC12VOLT on Wed Mar 25, 2026 5:50 am

Hi all,

I was able to set up the odometer function on this dash, but I'd also like to display a value, in miles, that adds the original odometer reading (3409 miles) from when it had a Race Technology Dash2. I attempted to add a distance meter that counts up from there, but that didn't work the way I expected it to. I've attached the configuration.

Thanks in advance!

As the Odometer is used for registration purposes, this value is locked out from the end user, this value can be changed, it needs to be organised through an approved MoTeC Dealer.

If you just need to add distance to the odometer, you can simply use the simulate feature (change the inputs to the ground speed channel) and go very fast. I've done this to update the odo on cars I replace the dash with. I've forgotten what the max speed is, but It might be 3276 m/s, which is 7328 mph -- so it doesn't take long.

But be careful, if you go to far, there is no way to back up without sending it back to MoTeC.
