Motec C187 advanced functions activation status

Postby HMeier on Sat Sep 21, 2024 3:45 am

Hello everyone,
i use a C187 Display Logger and i dont know if the advanced functions in the Dash Manager are enabled.
Is there a way to find out if the functions are unlocked?
The screenshot below shows that in order to use Advanced Math the advanced function option must be available.
Does the open lock symbol mean that it is unlocked?
When I load the configuration onto the C187, a warning appears saying that I am using advanced functions and that I need to have them activated. I can still continue.
Does the warning always appear even when advanced functions are activated?
I thought that my logger had enabled the functions.
Is there a way to find out if the functions are unlocked?
Can anyone give me an answer to this? :D

Thank you and best regards

Connect to your C187, and use Online->Dash Options (Upgrades), and the list of options enabled on your device will be displayed.

The icon is a reminder that this needs to be unlocked. If you don't have that option, I think you will find out when you attempt to send the configuration to the dash. Based on your description, I don't think that option (if puchased) has been enabled on your dash by entering the code).

Going by the serial number, you do not have Advanced Functions enabled.
