Hondata kpro4 to C127 issue

Hi David,

I have attached the config file im using and the can inspector capture also

just did a quick test and Im sure the data is transmitted in deg C after running the vehicle for a little

and a quick conversion on the data in can inspector shows the temp corresponds to the ecu temp even though ecu is showing it in deg F for coolant temp

for ID 0x661 - 002B - 43deg c - 110deg f

I think my issue will me the multiplier/divisor/adder
Multiplier I assume will be 10 as base is 0.1 degc

I would love to know what these mean so i can understand how to set this up, as there is little online i can find on this subject. Do you have any recommendations or can direct me on how to gain this knowledge

Hi,

If the channel is coming across as 1degF and your dash channel is 0.1degC
then the multiplier becomes 50, the divisor 9 the offset -177.

It's not perfect, but it is within 1degC.

Ok I worked out the issue

The templates from Hondata are for IDs 660 and 666

Which included the ecu Battery Volts and rpm etc

I created extra templates that covered IDs i needed for the sensors i require and now I have it working

I now understand what u mean in regards to the multiplier divisor and adder. I just got a little confused as I had no figures at all and thought my interpretation was wrong... its simply what they mean and are used to adjust some raw data to the figures u required. I had to do this for TPS which needed a multiplier of 10 to get the correct % value

This would be definitely challenging from sensors I would assume
