G sensors Offset due to mounting position

Postby DynoDom on Fri Sep 22, 2023 4:39 pm

Hello
The 1812 Dash is mounted slightly tilted forward. Because of that, the longitudinal GeForce is showing -0.45G at rest.
What is the correct way of dealing with this?
Can I simply Zero the longitudal GSensor in its mounted position (will the range become inaccurate?) or will a correction factor of 0.45 need to be applied in i2, or something else ?

Hi,

You just need to rezero it in the mounted position.
