C125 Communication Failed after M150 GPR upgrade to V1.4

Good afternoon,

I have an M150 using the GPR package and it was communicating with the C125 with no issues. I upgraded the GPR package to V1.4 and the ECU no longer communicates with the dash. I was hoping it migrated the settings across?

I returned it back to the previous version and it communicates fine.

I would appreciate a few pointers of where to look.

Thanks

Conrad

Hi Conrad,

When you say that the M1 is no longer communicating with the Dash, are you getting any data, or is there no data coming across at all?

There are new communications templates for the latest versions of GPR, but the base CAN messages haven't changed from the earlier versions, so you should be getting some information such as Engine Speed.

I would confirm that the CAN Bus 1 Mode is set to 1Mbps (or the appropriate speed for your CAN Bus) and look at the error being reported in the CAN Bus 1 Diagnostic.

Stephen,

Thanks for the reply. The dash is no longer reading anything.

Hi Conrad,

What does the CAN Bus 1 Diagnostic report in M1 Tune?

Stephen,

I have it working now. During the Migration to GPR 1.4 it had turned off Can Bus 2 and the address was incorrect.

Thanks for the help.

Conrad
