Selecting venue nesessary?

Is it necessary that when I arrive at a track, I flash my c125 with the current venue (edit details). I thought the c125 would know based on its Gps where it is running...

I have a problem where I downloaded some longs using the incorrect venue. Can those logs be corrected somehow? These were great runs and I would have to loose that info..

You can edit the details in I2 to change the venue -- you have to type it in as you don't select it from the pull-down menu.

There are settings in the dash manager (Tools->Options->Detalis confirmation) to ask you to confirm details before or after the downloading. Don't just skip over that step -- notice if the venue is correct and edit it if necessary so the files are saved in the right place, with the correct name.
