It is probably unlikely that the dash update rate is the issue. The AV input is sampled at 1000Hz and display is updated at 20Hz. There could be a very small amount of latency but I would expect there would be no way you could notice it.
If you are using DC make sure you have the 'rate' parameter for the channel in the display setup of Dash Manager set to 20Hz.

Good tip,
I will flash the dash later today. It was set to 10Hz (10 times per second?) as opposed to 20hz.
Funny because I checked in Dash manager and the sampling was 20 t/s - why do we have two places to change this?
