feature request

I realize that a new version of build is a couple of months out, but I have a suggestion for another feature. I would like to be able to capture an input based on a specific crank position (defined in a table) and held until another input is captured during the next revolution. This is already done for outputs, but it would be helpful to have a similar feature for inputs.

We do not currently or in the upcoming version support crank synchronous calculation events.

It is also currently not planned for the immediate future.

Usually our fuel calculation frequency is 200Hz which covers multiple fuel volume updates during one cycle. M1 Build offers a maximum event rate of 1000Hz if customers want to try some sophisticated approaches.

Thank you Jamie.

Unfortunately, being able to update the fuel volume several times during a cycle is a separate issue from being able to determine the air volume at a particular point during the compression step. In any event, it is possible to do this using throttle position, but based on my experimental data for an engine with separate cylinder specific plenums, using air pressure to estimate air volume may give more reliable/repeatable results at lower throttle openings where the relationship between throttle opening and air pressure is more logarithmic.
