1036 Error

Postby Fast_Moto on Fri Apr 13, 2018 4:31 am

The last two days i have been getting an error when trying to validate motec build projects. Specifically, all the calibrations in the pressure and temp sensor module present some type of name conflict and a 1036 error during validation. I attached images of the error when validating the example engine build, but I experienced it using my own created builds. The same errors is present even if I create a blank build with most up to date modules and just including a sensor as the sole object.

This happened after I did an update on m1 build (just calibrations, I believe). I have confirmed that all of the software is up to date. This is build 1.4.0.185.

Any suggestions?

I reverted back to build 1.4.0.131 and have no issues. latest module sets work appropriately in this build version.

I have the same issue on my laptop. But everything is good on my other laptop with no errors. The only difference between the two laptops is they are different systems. The one with no issue is running Windows 10, other running Windows 7. Is it a bug? But I'm sure there are a lot of people using M1 Build 1.4.0.185 with Windows 7. What we did wrong?

Hi,

Are you able to post one of the Projects that do not build either here or email them to support @ motec.com.au?

I have just done a quick build of the Engine Example project and did not have any errors. If you can let me know the version of Windows 7 that you are using as well, that would assist. I haven't heard of any issues with Windows 7 and build, so I'll look into it to see if something has cropped up.
