Modifying operation of Lambda warning

Hi,

I'm looking for some guidance on how I might be able to disable the lambda warning during the first few seconds after engine start up, prior to the lambda sensors coming online. I currently have 10s delay before they turn on and I'm trying to keep that there to prolong their life. I don't want to disable my lambda warning for normal operation, however, it throws the engine light on until the heaters turn on and I'm assessing options to try and fix this. Ideally, I don't want to decrease the delay below 10 seconds but is that my only option in this instance?

For reference it's an M150 on 1.5 on an R35 plug in package.

Cheers,

Hi Mike,

Setting the enable condition to a longer period of time is the correct way to handle this.

The enable is made for delaying monitoring the channel, so that you don't need require delaying the activation times when there is a fault.

Exhaust Lambda Warning Delay Enable - The delay before the exhaust lambda channels are monitored to trigger a fault (this is the one you want to set)

Exhaust Lambda Warning Delay Activate - The activation delay of the warning

Exhaust Lambda Warning Delay Reset - The delay of the warning turning off

Exhaust Lambda Warning Delay Limit - The period of time the warning needs to be active for before the engine speed limit or torque limit are set

Note: This is per the October 2018 firmware version 01.06.0913

Legend. Thanks, mate. Appreciate it. I'll have a play with that.
