Camshaft Position Sensor Bad Pitch

I am getting a bad pitch diagnostic from the Camshaft Position Sensor. The sensor appears to be correctly wired, as shown by the Input Capture feature. The car starts and runs. It is utilizing a synchronization sensor in order to sync. But the camshaft position sensor is required for setting up variable cam timing. The position sensor is a Hall type sensor. I believe I am missing something in the configuration of the sensor?
The car is a Subaru with a EJ257 single AVCS running an M130 with GPR package.
