Adding / removing hardware

I apologise in advance for what I'm sure is a basic newbie question ;

I have a M150 to replace the M880 in my car with a new loom and other bits and pieces. I'm quite familiar and reasonably competent with setting up additional hardware and comms between various bits of kit eg. ADL3 and Bosch M5 ABS.

When on the 'Vehicle' page and 'Calibrate All' tab it lists a variety of hardware to configure comms to. I should say that I bought the ECU secondhand and already has a a config in it. An example is that It has a setup for Bosch M4 ABS already there. Despite having watched numerous videos etc I am unable to work out how to delete this and add a M5 ABS profile and add an ADL3, or any othe dash for example.

I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Please help. TIA.

Look at the help for ECU Transmit. That will explain how the M1 has standard transmit messages that your ADL3 can be configured to receive. Just select the templates in your ADL3 config, and change your displays / logging to the new channels names.

Unfortunately I'm not any wiser. The ADL3 doesn't have a M1 Rx template. The C185 does but it's a CC9 whereas the ADL3 needs a CC7 format.

Also looking for M1 Rx templates, Bosch M5 ABS specifically. TIA.

Your M1 Firmware dictates what CAN devices it can receive data from. Since you didn't tell us what firmware package you have, I have no idea if the Bosch ABS M5 is supported.
In the Current MoTeC GPR packages, after choosing a Bosch ABS CAN Bus, you can use the parameter "Bosch ABS Type" to choose M4 / M5 / M5 v19.

My version of ADL3 Dash Manager, has M1_General_* templates.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest version of the ADL3 Dash Manager?

Hi,

These are the cc7 versions of the M1 General templates.
