Initial settings with compressed gas fuel

Are there any initial settings to keep in mind when running an engine with compressed gas fuel, the ECU is an M142.

My questions are as follows.
First, in which calculation is the fuel property density used? And where should I refer to the density, in the fuel line or in the combustion chamber? In the sample, the value is at 25°C and 1 atm, but with gas fuel, the value is too small to be entered out of range.

Second, to which location should the fuel volume in the injector be referred, e.g., in the fuel line or after injection? If gas is injected, the fuel volume would be too large and out of range.

Please let me know if there are any other points to be considered.

Hi,

Which compressed gas fuel are you using?

This is the process that the Fuel Model works with in M1.

Thanks for the explanation Steven.

Compressed hydrogen gas is used. The fuel pressure in the fuel line is assumed to be 4~16 [MPa].

It has been requested to have CNG added to the drop down list of fuels, the main issue has been the we keep getting varied values for some of the parameters which makes it difficult to set a single value.
