Lock Parameters While Dyno Testing

Postby macg_jones on Tue Jul 25, 2023 10:00 am

Hi there,

I am wanting to use M1 Tune to connect to my M150 ECU while running a dyno test to monitor data in real-time. However, to avoid the possibility of making accidental changes to parameters, I would like to be able to lock the ability to push changes to the ECU until the test is finished. Is this functionality possible within M1 Tune?

Many thanks,
Macgregor

The easiest way that I can think of to do this would be to use the User security in M1 Tune and create a user that only has View permissions, you can then login using this user and still see all of the data, but not be able to make any changes until you logout and then log back in using the user account that has full permissions. The downside with this is that each time you swap the logged in user, you lose the data that is in the Time Graphs.
