Negative Hysteresis Value?

Hello,
I have a 0V threshold voltage (2-wire magnetic-type CKP sensor) which in its current configuration is a rising edge trigger. Since the hysteresis serves as a "warning" to the ECU which tells it that the trigger (threshold) voltage is approaching, would I enter in for example, -0.5V as the hysteresis setting since the CKP output voltage is technically negative as it approaches the 0V threshold on the rising wave--or is hysteresis always entered as a positive value regardless of voltage polarity?

Any clarification on this would be very much appreciated!

Benjamin

Hi,

You enter the Hysteresis value as a positive number and the M1 handles it correctly depending on the Edge setting for that pin, you do not need to use negative values.
