Hi,

In the M1 the easiest way to do this is to setup the Driver Switch as a Latching switch, this allows for a momentary press button to be used to toggle a higher boost limit on and off. If you also have a MoTeC Dash in the vehicle, then you could use the functions in this for more control.

Ah yeah i thought of that to :)

but i want to make it easier for the customer, pushing it on and off would make for more distraction :/

Its a 2015 Porsche 991 carrera cup car that iv just switched form bosch ecu to a m150

it still ha the cosworth/porsche ips and Icd, the IPS we are going to keep but i think the icd will need to be changed.

however you guys should consider put this in the gpr and gprp for the future :)

It seems like the easiest modification to the GPR / GPRP might be adding an Auxiliary Time Boost Limit to the list of Auxiliary Time compensations. Or perhaps Aux Time should drive an output, then you could wire back as a Driver Engine Boost Limit switch.

Hi,

It has been added into the feature request list for consideration.

Yeah thats true it could be done with this, not the best way but it would go for sure :)

I will play around with it as the cup car needs to be finished soon.

If it's very important then you could consider using M1 build to add the required functionality. I have added a feature in one of my packages that essentially does what you want - it increases the boost aim for a programmable period of time, and then after this there is a programmable stand-down period before the system can be used again. It's not super-simple to do because of the way the Motec Boost Control system works, but any good M1 developer should be able to do it.
