Finding best fuel mixture aim

Hello everyone,

May I find out if it is recommended to find the best fuel mixture aim by changing it live? That is to go to a specific rpm and load, changing the fuel mixture aim to see which gives the best output(similar to how ign tuning is done)

Or dyno pulls have to be done for every change on the fuel mixture aim table??

Hi,

The lambda value can be changed whilst tuning, but normally you set the target that you want the engine to operate at and only have to fine tune it once the table is populated.

We did tune mine engine to 0.90 at 98 octane and over 800hp.
