2 group hand controller or PC laptop connection

the display on my 2 Group hand controller is dying, with segments not working at all, making it hard to read

does anyone know if the display is a commonly available part, or by chance, would anyone have a working hand controller i can buy??

the alternative is i try to get it connected to a PC.

any help appreciated
